America began as a place imagined, drawing to its shores explorers, merchants, pirates, colonists, and refugees who dreamed of immortality, adventure, wealth, opportunity, and freedom. Centuries later, that fantastical quality still thrives, making America both a place imagined and a place of imagination--a destination and a dream.

Proposals on all topics related to the fields of literature, history, cultural studies, composition, pedagogy, and allied disciplines are welcome. We also encourage student participation and offer discounted student rates.
