Current Annual Conference

Coming to America (and Florida):

The Literature of Immigration

Ybor City has a rich history of immigrant communities and offers us an opportunity to engage literary representations of immigration, immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Also, most Florida residents are from other U.S. states, so the theme resonates with the internal border crossings that occur both here and in other nations. Our 2018 locale has suggested the conference theme.

Proposals on all topics related to the fields of literature, history, cultural studies, composition, pedagogy, and allied disciplines are welcome. We also encourage student participation and offer discounted student rates. Full details and forms will be available below.
